About the authors:

Daphne Kalotay’s books include the award-winning novels Russian Winter, Sight Reading, and Blue Hours and two story collections: Calamity and Other Stories—shortlisted for The Story Prize—and The Archivists, winner of the Grace Paley Prize. Published in over twenty languages, her work has won fellowships from the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, MacDowell, and Yaddo. She lives in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Michael Golding is the author of Simple Prayers, Benjamin’s Gift, and A Poet of the Invisible World, which was nominated for the Lambda Literary Award and was the recipient of the Ferro-Grumley Award. His novels have been translated into ten foreign languages.  He is also a screenwriter, whose works include the adaptation of Alessandro Baricco’s Silk. As an actor, Michael has performed in numerous plays and musicals — including twenty-one productions of Shakespeare.  He currently lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California.

Yoni Hammer-Kossoy is a poet, translator, and educator, whose writing appears in numerous international journals and anthologies. A graduate of the Shaindy Rudoff program in Creative Writing at Bar Ilan University and winner of the 2020 Andrea Moriah Prize in Poetry, his first poetry collection, The Book of Noah, has been published this year by Grayson Books. Originally from New York, Yoni has lived in Israel with his family for almost 25 years.
