Passover Haggadah Supplement 2024

From Rabbi Joshua Kulp (my husband):

Over the past few weeks I have been posting about Kibbutz Haggadot and talking about them in various places in the US. I am attaching a supplement that I plan on using during Seder. A few points I've been thinking about:

1) Seder should be a different night. I don't want to spend all of Seder talking about October 7. We do that every night.

2) Seder should be inspirational and hopeful. The story of the Exodus is the story of freedom, not slavery. Inspiration pushes us to make a better world. Without hope, we fall into despair.

3) I want Israel to be a source of inspiration and not just a target of criticism. Its easier to be inspired by the past because the warts have somewhat disappeared.
