- Sarah Ansbacher, author of Passage from Aden. About Passage from Aden: Once upon a time, the port of Aden was a trading post and meeting point for people from all over the world. Now, in Tel Aviv, a short distance from the Mediterranean Sea, its spirit lives on at a little museum… But at this port, instead of goods, we trade in stories.

David Hopen is a student at Yale Law School. Raised in Hollywood, Florida, he earned his master’s from the University of Oxford and graduated from Yale College. The Orchard is his debut novel.

Amy Shearn is the author of the novels Unseen City, The Mermaid of Brooklyn, and How Far Is the Ocean From Here. She is a senior editor at Forge, a fiction editor at Joyland, and her work has appeared in the New York Times, Slate, Literary Hub, and many other publications. Sarah Ansbacher was born in London, UK. She has written three YA novels, and one historical novel, Far From The Place We Called Home, under her maiden name. Passage From Aden is her first book for a wider audience. It is based on her experiences working at the Aden Jewish Heritage Museum in Tel Aviv.
