About the Event
About the authors:
Danny Goodman's writing has appeared in Electric Literature, Catapult, Monkeybicycle, and elsewhere, and he has been the recipient of fellowships from Longleaf Writers Conference and Rivendell. He earned his MFA in Fiction from the University of New Orleans, where he was a two-time winner of the Samuel Mockbee Award. A Debutiful Most Anticipated Debut Book of 2024, called “compelling” and “a strong debut” by the Jewish Book Council, his award-winning debut novel, Amerikaland (LEFTOVER Books), is out now. Currently at work on a new novel, he lives in New York's Hudson Valley with his wife, a book editor, and their editorial cats.
Margot Singer is the author of a novel, Underground Fugue, and a linked short story collection, The Pale of Settlement. She is also the co-author, with Nicole Walker, of Bending Genre: Essays on Creative Nonfiction. She is the recipient of the Flannery O’Connor Award, the…
