About the authors:
Susan Kleinman’s writing has appeared in The American Literary Review, CRAFT Literary, JewishFiction.com, House Beautiful, Cosmopolitan, Hadassah, The Jerusalem Report, The New York Times, and dozens of other publications in the US, Israel, and around the world. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she was awarded a Kathryn Gurfein Writing Fellowship at Sarah Lawrence College, where she subsequently taught classes in fiction writing and overcoming writer’s block. Susan is the mother of two grown children (one in Israel and one in the US) and lives in Westchester County, NY, with her husband. All Afternoon is her first novel.
Rachel Tzvia Back is a poet, translator, and professor of literature. The author of twelve books, her work has received the Times Literary Supplement Award, the PEN Translation Prize, and a National Poetry Award nomination.
