About the Event
About the authors: Rabbi Minna Bromberg, PhD, is an author, rabbi, singer, and voice teacher who believes that fat people are people and that the Divine Image does not have problem areas. She holds a PhD in sociology from Northwestern University and received her rabbinic ordination from Hebrew College. After a "long labor" to integrate her thirty years of fat activism with her teaching of Torah she now guides others toward a world of embodied wholeness where every body is recognized as sacred and worthy. As the founder of Fat Torah and author of Every Body Beloved: A Jewish Embrace of Fatness (Wayne State University Press, 2025), Minna’s mission centers on the embrace of fatness as a theological imperative.
